Mike Mahaffey

Mike Mahaffey was born and raised in Richland, Washington, about four and a half hours south and east of Seattle. Even in elementary school, Mike was an actor, playing monumental roles such as Pipsqueak in "The Nutcracker" and the adjective Blue as well as various superheroes, cowboys, astronauts and lawyers every Halloween.

Upon graduating from Hanford High School (so named for the nearby location where plutonium was produced for The Manhattan project) Mike enrolled at Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington, where he continued to hone his acting skills, earning critical acclaim as Costard in "Love's Labors Lost" and The Amanuensis in Corneille's "The Illusion".

Mike continued his training in graduate school by earning his Master's degree from the University of South Carolina. He then performed regionally around the southeast, most notably Louisville, Kentucky where he created the role of Douglas in Shakespeare's "Henry 4 Part 1", as well as Greenville, South Carolina where he played Baloo in "Jungal Book" and Puck in "A Midsummer Night's Dream with the Warehouse Theatre.

Mike then moved back to the Pacific Northwest, choosing Seattle as his next destination. Mike was then seen working all over the city, creating roles such as Boolie in "Driving Miss Daisy", Littlechap in "Stop the World..." and William Henry Blore in "Ten Little Indians", as well as numerous commercials pushing everything from Alaska Airlines to the University of Washington.

Mike continues his acting career today in Los Angeles, where he currently studies at the Beverly Hills Playhouse and enjoys success as an actor, teacher, fight director and motion capture performer.

In his spare time, Mike is an avid motorcycle fan, riding his Harley-Davidson Sportster all over the city, and up and down the California Coast as often as possible. He also enjoys reading, tiling bathrooms, practicing Seidokan Aikido and playing way too much Guitar Hero.

His dreams: To make a difference to the world of acting, to ride across the United States on his motorcycle, and to beat Guitar Hero on Expert.
